About

gorilla

It was a cool day just before spring.  My sisters and I were out shopping and we drove past a gorilla advertising a going out of business sale.  Some people honked, some waved, and a few even yelled.

They weren’t like me.  They didn’t have gorilla suits in their trunks.

We pulled over in a nearby parking lot, and I proceeded to suit up (complete with the pink bow on my gorilla head).  We approached the gorilla from behind and managed to scare the living daylights out of the poor guy.  It was awesome.

I love mischief and novelty, two things that most people don’t get nearly enough of.  I also love travel, animals, reading, writing, tennis, cooking, and learning new things.  I’m currently working on improving my hula hoop and flying trapeze skills.

I’m also known for exceptionally bad taste in music.  The last two concerts I attended were Air Supply shows, and before that, it was Loverboy.  I would LOVE to see Gilbert O’Sullivan perform live, and I fully intend to do so at some point in 2011.  Outside of 70s and 80s music, I also listen to a lot of international, classical, and elevator music.

Professionally, I do whatever seems interesting at the time.  I opted out of the normal working world back in 2008, and today I earn a living through a combination of affiliate marketing, writing, and the occasional online marketing consulting job.
